Kowana Valley Music and Dance Workshop

Last October I had the pleasured to spend a weekend at Kowana Valley. There were 9 of us, which made for an intimate group and personalized teaching. The property is nestled in a small valley with a creek meandering through it. Lynn served up hearty and heathy meals, accommodating all. There are a variety of workshop areas, and between classes you can go hiking or swimming, and star gaze at night. Besides learning something new, I also renewed acquaintances, met new friends, and relaxed in a peaceful atmosphere. This is a place to decompress, connect with others and rejuevenate yourself. With its beautiful surroundings, gracious hosts, and comfortable accommodations, it is the perfect spot for a weekend workshop or retreat. - Susan Keith

Irish Music and Dance workshop - Oct 2012

Kowana Valley is a great place to have a workshop. The accommodations are great; comfortable, quiet, and peaceful, with plenty of places to practice. There are beautiful places to go for a hike during free time. The food was wonderful and plentiful, and Lynn took care of us like a mother. The teachers were great, and the other participants very friendly. I hope to go back soon!

Dance Workshop

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Kowana Ranch. With a number of people there, we still enjoyed time and space to be (with) ourselves. The others were a diverse crowd, and I know everyone had their needs taken care of. The food was delicious and those with special diets were accommodated. The accommodations were lovely, and I know they have improved since. The dance workshops we took were intense, even though we were in such a relaxing setting. Looking forward to similar weekends in the future.
